From clay tablets to e-books, Professor Connie Orbeta will
share the fascinating history of the book in the
advancement of civilization. She will explore the sociopolitical climate
and the technology of each time period for a better understanding of the
different book structures throughout the ages. The presentation includes a display
of historical replicas of books as well as contemporary “art books”
hand-crafted by Professor Orbeta.
